The Pre-scaleup Track is a specialised track in the Skylab Startup Programme designed to strengthen commercial foundation of your startup and advance its scale-up potential.
Audience: Research based startup projects
Eligibility: PoC and InnoExplorer grantees (2026 and onwards)
Duration: Up to 12 months

- Tailored business development sessions about commercialisation, funding journey, team development, IP strategy, and other key topics relevant to growing an investable startup.

Expected outcome
By the end of the journey, you can expect to have developed your startup project and increased minimum 2 innovation readiness levels (KTH model) on business, technology, funding, and team.
You will have a strong business model, a sharpened market entry strategy, team development insights, and be prepared for initial investment.
How do I apply?
The Pre-scaleup Track is currently available to PoC and InnoExplorer grantees (from 2026 an onwards). If you are awarded a grant, the enrollment into the Pre-scaleup Track is automatically set in motion. You will get an invitation to a kick-off event, and your pre-scaleup journey begins.
