At DTU Skylab, we believe innovation is a team sport. You succeed by inviting the outside world in and tapping the right resources at the right time. Our support for DTU-based startups covers everything needed for turning your idea into a business.

Through hands-on learning, one-on-one coaching and personal development, you’ll build leadership, innovation and business skills at your own pace. Whether you’re just curious about entrepreneurship or ready to commercialise your research, there’s a place for you. We are open to all DTU students and staff.

Info Session

Curious about what we have to offer if you want to build a startup, and how entrepreneurship can strengthen your future career? Join us at an info session and get a brief but thorough look into how we work with startups, innovation, and ideas. You will walk away with a clear picture of our programmes, tools, and how we can help turn your idea into something real – plus a crash course in effective ideation to get you started.

Open-Door Coaching Session

This is your way into the programme – no application form, just show up. Simply come to one of our open-door coaching sessions, pitch your idea, and get honest feedback from one of the startup coaches at our team. The more prepared you are, the more you will get out of it. We will have a conversation, assess where you are, and together decide if you are ready to take the next step into DTU Skylab Startup Programme.

The Skylab Startup Programme is a three-stage program designed to help you transform your idea into a sustainable business. Through practical learning, one-on-one coaching, and personal development, you’ll shape your own startup journey at your own pace.

Skylab Funding


Soft funding for DTU startups  developing prototypes or testing concepts.

  • Grants: DKK 15,000 – 150,000
  • Open to students, researchers & alumni
  • Covers prototyping, testing and consultancy costs
