DTU Skylab will be at Folkemødet with the initiative 'Technology Leaving No One Behind' and three student projects working to make a more sustainable and inclusive Folkemøde.

Marie L. Pollmann-Larsen

Team Lead

Marie uses her entrepreneurial mindset and passion for impact, to develop new formats that invite university students and entrepreneurs to be involved in inclusive innovation projects with public and private stakeholders. She leverage her 15 years of experience as design engineer and independent consultant in Africa and Asia, designing everything from refugee tents, to entrepreneurship programs in India, to leading large-scale emergency programs in South Sudan.

Innovation Consultant

Ingrid has a background in UX design, and has worked as a designer, researcher, consultant, and has founded two companies. She speaks about inclusive design, universal design, accessibility and diversity.

Björgvin Hjartarson

Project Coordinator

Björgvin specializes in design and innovation education, leading global youth initiatives towards sustainability and inclusivity. Interested in design's intersection with technology and future trends, to bring about societal transitions. He's currently exploring AI applications in education and design.

Sara Dømler

Project Coordinator

Sara excels in staging co-creation processes and leads interdisciplinary student-company collaborations nurturing sustainable solutions. She is driven by applying design and innovation tools to tackle societal challenges and is exploring the integration of this into students' education.

Particularly interested and experience with societal issues related to agriculture and healthcare.

Jr. Design Consultant

Andreas Stadsvold Christensen engaged in the realm of holistic design, focusing on creating solutions that address societal needs. With a foundation in Design & Innovation, his work prioritizes the integration of universal design principles to ensure accessibility and inclusivity. His work can be seen through his contribution to UniversalDesignGuide.com and the DesignLab at DTU Skylab.

Team: A party for everyone

We are working on a concept for the 'Global Goals Tent' at Folkemødet using Universal Design principles, where the goal is to create a party where no one is left behind.

Team: ChargeUp

Sustainable off-grid charging at festivals: We aim to develop a sustainable off-grid charging solution for individuals with disabilities at Danish festivals and excited to test our proof of concept at Verdensmålenes Plads at Folkemødet 2024.

LotusMap – your sensory guide

Our bachelor project explores universal design principles at Folkemødet with the goal of creating an inclusive festival that welcomes everyone. More about LotusMap
