CATALY(C)ST

The CATALY(C)ST project mixes new ways of making and developing in community led peer-to-peer co-creation closely integrated with classic applied research approaches. Bringing best practice from the research world, the maker communities, the youth movements and industry into one strong initiative.

CATALY(C)ST overall mantra is decoupling value creation from resource consumption, by:

  • Accelerating Nordic companies' transition to a sustainable circular economy. We engage students and manufacturing companies using a collaborative approach for CE development projects. Coupled with resources from world-class researchers and mentor experts, Nordic innovation the Nordic companies will speed up their CE transition.

Nordic Sustainable Business Transformation

The context for CATALY(C)ST is to initiate the establishment of Nordic innovation projects, new Nordic partnerships, value chains and/or business models in the field of Nordic Sustainable Business Transformation – Circular Cities and New Circular Solutions. Nordic Innovation aims to accelerate the transition to a circular economy in the Nordic countries and further develop the Nordics as agile frontrunners within the circular economy. Furthermore, we are working concretely to help to achieve the Nordic Prime Ministers’ vision of making the Nordic region the most sustainable, integrated region in the world by 2030.
