The EuroTech 2021 Innovation Day brings together for the first time the 6 institutions composing the EuroTech Universities Alliance:

EuroTech 2021 Innovation Day

The event aims to:

  1. Strengthen collaborative agreements between alliance member universities
  2. Establish joint research and projects between alliance faculty
  3. Establish joint workshops, seminars and joint programs
  4. Develop new and exciting student exchange programs
  5. Enable the constant sharing of international best practices

Innovation Day 2021 could not have come at a more important time. Together, we can recover from the coronavirus pandemic and ensure a green and digital future for everyone. Join the conversation on 28 April and share your thoughts on, how EuroTech Universities Alliance can help us reach these goals. The event is all about collaboration: bringing together individuals and experts from leading European universities of science & technology to build connections and ignite a brighter future.

31 live-talks og 12 startup pitches
The Technion - Israel Institute of Technology and its entrepreneurship & innovation center, "t-hub," will be hosting EuroTech Innovation Day 2021. The keynote speaker, Gilad Japhet, Founder & CEO of MyHeritage will set off a full day programme of 31 live-talks and debates that ends with a startup competition. 
 
"As part of the ongoing strategic partnership with the EuroTech Universities Alliance, we are happy to participate in this gathering of EuroTech's finest experts in innovation and entrepreneurship. Bringing new tech to market is key to creating new jobs and solving some of the big challenges the world is facing. So we're bringing the whole innovation ecosystem together to explore how we can turn more new tech into successful startups and scaleups, says Mikkel Sørensen, Head of DTU Skylab. 
 
You can tune in for the whole programme (13:00-20:00 CET) or cherry-pick the talks you are particularly interested in. Already as of 08:00, the event starts with a Biomedical Engineering Hackathon. The day ends with EuroTech's coolest competition with amazing tech and startups.

a) Boosting Entrepreneurship: activities performed to boost entrepreneurship within Alliance partners campuses.
b) Students on the forefront of Academia Innovation: activities performed that place Alliance partners students at the forefront of Academia Innovation
c) From product to market: activities performed and tools used by Alliance partners to take their products to the marketplace
d) On the critical role of supporting environments: ecosystems and mechanisms that accelerate Alliance partners innovation
e) Startups & Ventures: Alliance partners Startups and Ventures that reflect best values and practices
