DTU Skylab FoodLab is excited to invite you to the EatSafe Innovation Challenge Global Finale at DTU Skylab!
EatSafe Innovation Challenge Global Finale is an effect of a joint venture between The Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN) and DTU Skylab FoodLab. EatSafe is a multi-country program funded by USAID to enable lasting improvements targeting food safety in traditional markets.

The event will prioritize accessible technological approaches to food safety for traditional markets and focus on borderless collaboration to achieve global food safety with systems-thinking strategies. The Day will start with talks from experts sharing knowledge and experience from their fieldwork working toward better global food safety and followed by a panel discussion. In the afternoon, 6 finalists from Nigeria and Ethiopia will compete to win the EatSafe Innovation Challenge 2022 by presenting their ideas to adapt and apply existing innovations to traditional food markets to resolve systemic food safety issues.
