STEAM Developing creativity in engineering through art

We are happy to present Dr. Patricia Caratozzolo, PhD, Electronic Engineer, Tecnologico de Monterrey,  Santa Fe

Her talk is about how to incorporate artistic experiences as a proposal of educational innovation to address the requirements of employers and accreditation agencies. 

STEAM approach responds to the growing demand to achieve creative thinking, a metacognitive process that allows not only complex problem solving but also a high degree of innovation in disruptive tasks. But, how to include creative thinking in an engineering design process that is deeply ruled by higher order logical components? Case studies and best practices from Tecnologico de Monterrey will be shared with the audience.

Some of Dr. Caratozzolo’s principal expertise within sustainable energy and educational innovation are:
