Nordic Entrepreneurship Hubs

Creating a higher number of successful student-entrepreneurs with strong professional and technical backgrounds working across Greater Copenhagen.

For the region to really profit from the growth potential that students with entrepreneurial ambitions represent, structural challenges must be met by creating a better connection and synergy between the agencies supporting upcoming businesses and the needs of student-entrepreneurs.

Based on Swedish and Danish experiences, this project aim is to create a higher number of successful student-entrepreneurs with strong professional and technical backgrounds working across Greater Copenhagen.

To achieve this goal, permanent and strong cooperative structures between relevant agencies and institutions across Sweden and Denmark are needed. The project will create these cooperative structures and strengthen the companies of the student entrepreneurs by:

  • aiding easy access to essential and necessary facilities, office spaces, networks and advice
  • developing flexible start-up and growth packages that address the needs of student entrepreneurs when they enter into the demanding process of developing their company.

The sustainable growth and economic and social cohesion of Greater Copenhagen is dependent on the success of the young student-entrepreneurs operating across the strait. Companies launched by those with a higher education have proven to create more jobs than other businesses. Therefore, this project invests in Swedish and Danish student-entrepreneurs. In this way, the project contributes to the utilization of the entrepreneurial capabilities and innovation potentials of Greater Copenhagen.
